About Me
Since my first network lighting cameraman credit in 1998 I have shot and lit for countless documentaries, commercials and dramas across a variety of genres. I have filmed C-suites and Parliament, surgeries and sewers, murder cases and makeovers, sensitive subjects and pure entertainment for all the UK’s terrestrial channels and others such as Sky, A&E and CBS.
On the corporate side I have worked on hundreds if not thousands of productions covering companies big and small in manufacturing, finance, medicine, technology, government, charities and everything in between.
I have experience shooting on ships, in cars and from helicopters and planes and have even found myself floating in zero-g above Moscow.
On the technical side I developed an app called LUTCalc, through which I did a great deal of research into the mathematics and colour science of log filming, which I feel gives me the freedom to concentrate on the artistic and creative aspects of storytelling when filming.
For many years I have been a BAFTA member, and I am also a member of the Guild Of Television Camera Professionals (GTC).
